Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Nodds — the app at nodds.ai and the Nodds API. By using either, you agree to them. Nodds is currently in beta: features and pricing may change, and availability is not guaranteed.
1. What Nodds is (and isn't)
Nodds lets you connect health data sources — wearables, blood reports, calendar, environment — and ask questions answered from that data, and lets developers embed the same capability in their own products via the Nodds API. Nodds is not a medical device and provides no medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Answers are informational and can be wrong or incomplete; never rely on them for medical decisions, and consult a clinician about health concerns.
2. Your account
You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be 16 or older. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or violate these terms.
3. Your data
You retain all rights to your data. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service — retrieving, processing, and displaying your data to you (and, through the API, to applications you authorize). Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Credits and payments
Accounts include a free monthly allowance. Beyond it, usage draws from a prepaid balance; each request debits its listed price, and service pauses at a zero balance. Balances are redeemable for service usage only, aren't transferable, and — except where required by law — aren't refundable; if we discontinue the service, we'll refund remaining balances. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change with notice; changes never apply retroactively to a balance you already hold.
5. The API
API keys are per-account and must be kept server-side. You may not use the API to build a service that resells raw access to the underlying data platform, to probe other accounts' data, or to exceed rate and usage controls. Each end user's data must be scoped to your own application's users (one reference_id per real user). If your application handles others' health data, you're responsible for your own users' consent and applicable law.
6. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; don't upload content you have no right to; don't use Nodds to harm others or violate law.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Termination
You can stop using Nodds and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be dated above and flagged in the product. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
